It was a snap ride to Magdeburg to see the gig of Apoptygma Berzerk,
some friends told me they go there and I decided earlier the same day
to join them to do some work! I saw Apop before, in augus at the M'era
Luna festival, maybe saw is a bit too much said, I heard them and could
see some shapes between the thick haze on stage. Everybody who ever
visited M'era Luna know what I am talking about. So I knew what to
come. We were late and missed the supportband due to bad hunger on our
way. Two Hot Dog's and one Hot without Dog later we enterd the concert
hall and found some places on the right side close to the stage. Well
of course the only stupid available stood in front of us but who cares.
It was just a bit annoying that he danced on my feet but whatever.

Apop made a big show, I specially liked the 4 LED-walls on the backside
that welcomed Magdeburg by name and later showed ome nice effects!
Simple but forceful. Stephan is a very charismatic singer and they are
good in what they are doing, the beats are perfect to dance but it is
still hard enough to catch the guys and melodic enough to trap
the ladies. Just the ballad in the middle of the set was boring and I
had too much time to start to feel dizzy because of the bad air. Always
a problem in the Factory.

The singer of the supportband Brandon came on stage for a song
and you could feel that the guys like doing their job! The athmosphere
was better than I ever saw it happen before in Magdeburg.
Later you could find some of the guys at the merch to get pictures and
autographs. Not that there where so many people waiting but well this
is neither the typical teen-band.
