Beloved Enemy is a german band with a high celeb-density. Founder Peter Kafka, well known as former guitarist of Fiddler's Green, Big Boy and actual Lacrimas Profundere, drummer Martin "Dog" Kessler known from H-Blockx and Chai Deveraux- member of Jesus On Extasy are three of the five. The U.S.- american singer Ski-King „Dead L-vis“ acted in a movie before and just Eddy the base-guitar player was a "new" face to me. Well not "that" new cause I saw their debut gig on WGT 2007 and I liked it.
TOR 3 is a new and not finished underground- location in Goslar, they can be very proud to have such a pearl. Nearby you will find a gothic-shop and more dark commerce. The club is big, parted into 4 areas -one for smokers, and the stage is located in a room for about 150 to 200 people. When we arrived there where a lot of people after a while inside and a local prominent DJ-Team starts the party. The gig was announced to start at 22.00 but they were late. Most of the people in the location came to see the gig and Ski entertained them perfectly. The "shut up -bassplayer" or "no one asked the bassplayer" has hit-format. A little dig at Chai who where the only one still wearing a T-shirt was inevitable of course. Not to forget the EMO-shouts at Chai whose other Band JOE was chosen by a stupid Teen-magazine as Newcomer EMO band. Whatever they are, EMO is so far away from it that it's embarracing!
Well the gig was fun, lot's of laughing, dancing and bad words, big naked bellys and very very good songs!
The party afterwards went on as if nothing happened and you now go and listen to beloved Enemy :)
