Deep Insight, Blindside, Bitune, 12.05.2007 Silverwings Berlin

As I had seen Deep Insight a few times before I was really  happy to hear that they come to Germany again togther with such a great band like Blindside. The gig I visited was in Berlin in the Silverwings- a club next to the Columbia Hall. First I did Interviews with Christian from Blindside and with Deep Insight that were on tour for the first time with the new baseplayer Jore after Miska left the band for private reasons.

The opener for this evening were bitune, a hardcore band from Germany that played very solid and got lots of reponse from the crowd...
Meanwhile I could see a lot of finnish girls standing in the first row waiting for Deep Insight, that are big stars in Finland and for the girls it is the chance to get in close contact to them on this small space, what never will happen on concerts in Finland.  
Then Deep Insight started their set and  I surprisingly never had the feeling of missing something. To the contrary, Jore fits perfectly to the band and they really seemed to have fun on stage together. You can watch a little video of that show in the video section.
The audience - better , the girls in the audience- made lots of noise and deep Insight left the stage as happy as they could be after a great gig.

Then Blindside started playing with powerbeats and noise and at the same time I had to leave the floor cause People started to mosh. I don't know if they could listen to the music while hitting themselves, but  they should have done... Blindside are special and a very good tecnical band. without the moshing crowd they would be an exellent reference for every rock-fan. But  you have no chane to watch it from a close distance. So better buy the album and let the moshpit still be used by all the idiots.

The After Show Party took place in the same location and all the people had the chance to talk to the bands and get autographs and pictures.
