Braunschweig

The Room in the Brunsviga was filled to the last place when John and
Maite came on stage, very mixed crowd around us. We found our places in
the middle of the room and I realized the fans in
the first
rows that seem to know the show very good. To describe wat we
saw is difficult, the show is half musical, half concert and
influenced by fantasy, irish folk, Rock and Popmusic and Opera. Maite
sang for example an aria from Puccini. Their own songs are mystic in
every way, on stage they are completed with two backgroundsingers, one
cellist, a drummer and a keyboarder. Maite and John seemed to be very
lucky and they had as much fun as the fans had that evening.

Surprisingly John played some old Songs from the Kelly Family like Red
Shoes, where Maite was dancing in a red dress and Imagine
which
fits literatly into the show.
They also played a very old song called Hey little Girl and
all
the fans sang along. From time to time there where faster songs and the
audience stood up and clapped their hands. I think it is typically for
the region of Braunschweig that the people need some time to warm up,
but there was a vey enthusiastic mood inside and John and
Maite
had to come back for 2 more songs! I just can agree that Maite is an
amazing sopranist, her voice is fairy-like and strong. It
fits
perfectly to Johns warm voice but even the two girls singing in the
background were very talented!! At one song, they took some fans to the
stage and danced with them what shows thet they are very close to the
audience.

You should really think of visiting a show when they come to your town,
it's like a journey to a dream and it's also a concert with much of fun!
After the show, John and Maite always give autographs and
take pictures with their fans.
