What exactly was the reason for me to go to Hamburg to see Lovex in concert??? Well as usual it was the supportband- White Flame- that makes me do that, some guys from Tampere / Finland that play a bit Aerosmith-like music. I heard of them and wanted to check out if they are as good as people said! And my friend was also a good reason, it's always fun to visit concerts with her. Well actally I survived Lovex before, why not this time again!

I had to be a bit spontaneous that day, soon after we arrived we were raided with an Interview with White Flame. Well I had barely an hour to find questions that I could ask a band I didn't know anything about. Great but we had fun and you can read the result in the Interview-section.
The interview gave me the chance to eye up the guys and I was surprised- the singer Vice didn't seem so typical finnish to me- he hugged us all and talked at a strech and when they started playing the first impression was amplified. Even the music sounds more american than the usual Tampere Rock-bands do. I just can tell you I liked it very much. If you don't need baby-faced boys and androgyn looks and you like good old Rockmusic you will love them too.

When Lovex entered the stage I sat down on a stool in the 3rd row- some people looked at me like I am an insane but sorry I am not twenty anymore and I start to be a bit frail- and tried to find something to enjoy in the show. I did not know most of the songs and the music is a bit too much pop to touch me deeply but in the end I found something. A good show, a good live-sound and some nice, half-naked bodies.  Can I say that?? Yeah why not. They did the Bon Jovi cover again so this included I had 4 songs I could nearly sing along!
I have to add that the Lovex-members are very kind guys, they spent hours with the fans after the show and so did White Flame, they all are very down-to-earth. I guess noone went home sadly or frustrated.

Pictures in the gallery as usual!
