Østen says in a letter to the fans: " We have
been looking for something fresh; a voice with character and identity.
An imitation of the former singer is the last thing we want, but this
special someone also must be able to sing the classics. We take our
past with us in the future.
We have
received demos from many candidates from all
over the world. Some of them were asked to send more material, and a

them in our studio.
It is

want to raise any speculations about why. It was her decision to make.
But I think it was the wrong one."

PETITION: http://www.adressit.com/uk_to_germany
Uniklubi to Germany
This is a petition to get Finnish band Uniklubi to play a gig or more
in Germany. Main importance is to find out if there are enough people
that would show up the gigs if few would happen.
I'm sorry it's in Finnish but there's only few things to fill out.
1. Etunimi = First name
2. Sukunimi = Family name
3. Paikkakunta = Place of residence
Sähköpostiosoite = e-mail (and this I wanted to put
there so I could find out more easily who are actual people)
Last question is if you want your name to be shown on the list or not.
Kyllä - Yes
Ei - No

Debut album info and Joona’s departure
Hi Guys
Just letting you know that our first album is titled "Silta Yli Kaiken"
(Bridge Over Everything, in English). The first single "Kiinni" and
it'll be out later this autumn. So stay tuned for that, we'll post it
in MySpace when time is right. It's going to be great.
Some sad news too. Our keyboardist Joona has decided to call it quits.
After a long and thoughtful period Joona felt that being a musician
simply isn't what he wants in life. We respect his decision and wish
all the best for him and his family. We've seen a lot of turbulence in
the local rock scene lately but this has not nothing to do with it.
Joona will play the gigs until November. Due to this, he is not in the
new promotional photos and will not do any interviews.

Beursgebouw
Eindhoven sold out, new show at the Ahoy in Rotterdam!
As
some of you might know, we will be playing at the Beursgebouw Eindhoven
on November 24th. This show is now completely sold out, which is great
news of course. We look forward to seeing you all there to experience
this special evening together with us. For those of you who
weren’t quick enough to get tickets we have great news. On
February 7th 2008 we will be playing at the Ahoy Stadium in Rotterdam
with the Dutch Metropole Orchestra!
When
recording our albums, we have always worked with real orchestras. It is
an important part of our sound, the dynamics and authentic sounds of an
orchestra are truly unique. Therefore, we are really excited to do
something like this in a live setting at the Ahoy
The
Metropole Orchestra really is a big name in the international music
industry. The orchestra has played with many famous artists and after
we played with them a few times at award ceremonies, we came up with
the idea to do a concert together.
Like
our shows at the Java Island and the Beursgebouw Eindhoven, the Ahoy
Stadium (pretty much thé concert hall to be in The
Netherlands) will allow us to create a perfect show. Rotterdam is also
easy to reach by car, train and airplane from various countries.
In
short: it will be a night not to miss!
