The Sonic Roots from Helsinki with frontman Henry (Nene) Lee Roots & The Pleasures from Hamburg build a wild couple to play two gigs together in the S.O.M.A in Hannover and at the legendary WILD at HEART in Berlin.
Sonic Roots play Rock'n' Roll with sexappeal and the Pleasures are definitly one of the strangest Glam Rock bands ever.
The S.O.M.A. in Hannover was filled with about 50 people and the audience was very positive about the finns.

Henry Lee Roots as a very charismatic person conquered the girls heats within a few seconds and after the gig he was sourrounded by females all the time.

When The Pleasures entered the stage the comes up big noise from the fans that came from all over germany to see the guys in tights and make up. The played with their new drummer General Razz Pleasure and it was a great experience to watch these guys. The Lord played a new song, a ballad calles October 29 and after the first refrain all the fans sang along.

After the gig, the bands took some time to talk to all the fans and peple at the venue and then they started off to Berlin as we did after playing Taxi for the sonic roots and getting catched by police with five persons, lots of Bags and a guitar in a Fiat Cinquecento ;)

We had planned an intrview wih Sonic Roots at Wild at Heart around 18.00 and just at time Henry, Stacey and Björn answered a lot of questions that you can read now in the interview section of northern-rockmusic.com.
Then the doors were opened and the venue was filled to the top ith fans when the Sonic Roots started playing. They just had some technical problems what means the cable of Henrys mic fell off from time to time but well, you can also sing with two mics all the time, then you're secured!

The heat at Wild at Heart rised over more than 50 degrees and not just the band was sweaty after finishing the gig.

Berlin is a Home-match for the Pleasures, They have so many fans in the capital that they could be also a band from Berlin, not from Hamburg. The audience rocked the house and The Pleasures delighted us with some acrobatic insertions.

After this gig there was a big After Show Party in the Wild at Heart as usually and we were talking and drinking all together till dawn comes up and we decided to drive home to get a little sleep.
